BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Real Name: Mai Yvonne Blackman
Ring Name: Mai Blackman
Age/DOB: 34/May 8th, 1985
Height: 5'7
Weight: 135lbs
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois

PRESENTATION INFORMATION
Entrance Theme: "Reanimate" by Breathing Theory
Alignment: Heel
Gimmick Description: A former bounty hunter renowned among others in the line of work for being overtly aggressive with her bounties. Eventually she was blacklisted from the occupation due to her violent behavior. After this, her friend and producer of her show, Janet Jacobs, convinced her to try her hand at professional wrestling. Mai steps into her new career with just as little mercy to her opponents as she did the bounties she used to hunt. She wants to fight. She wants to win. If she has to legitimately hurt someone to do those things, she most certainly will
Manager/Valet: Janet Jacobs (@theeditorskid)
WRESTLING INFORMATION
Wrestling Style: Mai mixes her professional wrestling training of the recent year with her previous multiple years of actual martial arts training. She combines technical submission and Strong Style wrestling with strikes from Muay Thai, and counters, takedowns and submissions taken from her study of Systema.
Years Pro: 0 in wrestling, has trained for 2 years. Prior to that, she did 10 years in the USMC, 0300 Infantry. Since childhood, she's been raised on martial arts such as Systema and Muay Thai
Finisher(s)
-Blackman's Bounty
Triangle Chokehold that she’ll pull off in any situation she can; even running and leaping at the opponent.
-The System
A Systema spinning back elbow strike directly to the face. At the very least, it opens them to a pin but Mai hopes it knocks them out. Mai uses this against the more discipline savvy opponents who know how to scout grapples. It’s harder to scout a quick, sudden strike when you get caught up exchanging shots back and forth.
Signature(s)
-Chicago Kiss
Quite simply a stiff headbutt but Mai tends to pull it off in almost any situation, even during pop-ups.
Used as a setup for one of her finishers. The headbutt stuns them, leaving them open.
-Modified Sitting Fujiwara Armbar
Basically, Becky Lynch’s Disarm-Her but Mai tucks the arm under her armpit, wraps tight and wrenches back to apply extra pressure.
Note: This is one of those instances the commentators would react with horror, commenting on the torque Mai is putting on and the angle of the arm.
Common Moves
1. Single/Double Leg Takedown
2. Waistlock STO Takedown, Headstomp combo
3. Scissor Leg Takedown into a submission hold (Usually counters stomp attempts with this)
4. Peruvian Necktie
5. Ankle Pick from the Collar Tie Up
6. Wizard Kick (A counter throw when someone tries to take her back from a tie-up. Kicks her leg back and between the legs - not a low blow - and uses the initial force as she dips forward to flip them over her and onto their back)
7. Tai Otoshi (A hip toss used in Judo)
8. Rolling Kneebar
9. Arm Drags
10. Shoot Throw (You’ve all seen in UFC how they shoot in, pick them up around the waist and slam them down)
11. Kata Hajime/Sometimes turned into a suplex
12. Indian Deathlock
13. Inside/Outside Dragonscrew
14. Stiff punches and kicks based around Systema
15. Back Body Drop
16. Cradle DDT
17. Guillotine Choke
18. Shoot & German Suplex Variations (Snap, Bridge, Deadlift, etc)
19. Krav Maga Strikes (Stiff punches, kicks, knees and elbows meant to wear the opponent down)
20. Flying Armbar (Usually used when her and her opponent are charging each other and they go for a lariat. She literally jumps and takes the arm.)
21. Saito Suplex
22. Belly to Belly Suplex
23. Scissorhold Headlock (Used to counter out of a pinfall cover after kicking out. She literally throws her legs up and catches their head. From there, she can hold that position or take an arm)
24. Rolling Wristlock (Counter out of a Rear Waistlock administered by her opponent)
25. Legsweep (Catches the kicking leg and sweeps the other leg out, knocking them on their face. Will usually hold the caught leg and go for a submission)
26. Gogoplata
27. Running Leg Scissors
28. Ground Mounted Punches/Forearms/Elbows
29. Grounded Knees to the ribs or shoulders, based on how she takes them down
30. Tomoe Nage (You could compare it to a sort of Monkey Flip. It’s used in Judo to quickly go to a ground mount)
