Rose City Wrestling Presents: Chapter 38
2019 Lilith Morgan Memorial Cup Night Two
November 11th, 2019
McMenamin’s Crystal Ballroom
Portland, Oregon
The show begins with a video package, showing last night’s action, including the finishing moments from each first round match, along with announcing an Artemis Championship Eliminator match for the evening.
The feed then transitions to Johnny DeVille at ringside, with a very upset Emevlas Stastias alongside him at commentary. They run down tonight’s card, Mevy goes silent when Moss vs Van Doren comes onto screen.
Earlier Today…
Ya Girl Q is backstage tying up her boots when she notices the camera is paying her a visit. Her Artemis Title is sitting propped up on a storage box next to her.
Q: Here we are Night Two of the 2019 Lilith Morgan Memorial Cup and I got to be surprised. Did you all really think I wasn’t going to make it past the second round? Did you all really think I was going to lose to Emi Hirota? I don’t care who she is. I don’t care who she was. The Fourth Queen? You know what that means to me? Old news. Something of the past. This is a new era and it’s time for Ya Girl Q to become a queen. Still, you all deem my win as possibly the ‘Upset of the Tournament’. Get the hell out of here. Do you think I’m the Artemis Champion because I just so happened to stumble into it? No, I’m an opportunist.
Q grabs the Artemis Title and shoves it into the camera.
Q: This right here? I earned this. It’s not by going out there and doing spot after spot. It’s by becoming the true definition of what an Artemis Champion should be. I’m a hunter and a hunter doesn’t go out there all maniacal to get their prey. No, they sit and they wait. They bide their time until their prey is ripe for the picking. I work smart. While some people are out there diving off balconies… or being thrown off balconies… or whatever they want to call it. They are out there trying to get that retweet and like while I worked smart. I took advantage of the situation when I needed to and I won my right to be in the tournament final. I WON the Artemis series tournament just the same as I’m ready to win this little Memorial Tournament we got going on right now.
Q adjusts the Artemis Title on her shoulder.
Q: You thought I wasn’t going to. You thought you were going to send me packing in the first round all because you put me against a FORMER queen? You were all wrong. Upset of the Tournament? I’m truly offended. Just as I had before I chose my moment to strike and Ya Girl Q sealed her spot in the second round of the Lilith Morgan Memorial Cup. I’ve got some news for you. Do you think you’re going to stop me by putting me up against another FORMER queen? You’ve got me against the fifth Queen of Roses, Angelica Vaughn. Bitch please. You think for a moment I’m scared of Angelica. Why? Because she towers over me? Let me tell you this here. That smirk Angelica had on her face last night is about to get wiped clean off her face. I’ve got no towels. I’ve got no makeup wipes. I’ve got no baby wipes. I’m going to wipe that face clean with my boot right here. Don’t dismiss this beautiful 5 foot 2 inch frame. Just as quickly as you look past me I’m dumping you on your head. So go out there and try to get y'all's retweets and likes. Ya Girl Q is here to bide her time and strike while the iron’s hot. We will be crowning a new Queen of Roses this year so I suggest you start getting used to the name Queen Q.
Q blows a kiss to the camera before walking out of the shot.

Artemis Championship Eliminator
Lena Skye def. Crystal Zdunich , Missy Lee, and Aura Everton at 11:14 via “From the Heavens” on Crystal.
The show opened with a four-way dance that saw all four women give their all, in an intense, high paced match up, Missy, utilized her wisdom, to focus a majority of her offense to Lena, while Crystal and Aura brawled all around the ballroom.
Crystal was eventually able to land a perfect Tope con Hilo onto Missy and Aura, knocking them both down, but when she heads back into the ring, to celebrate, Lena jumps onto her back, and locks in the Rear Naked Choke, at center ring, and Crystal taps out, right as Aura makes it back to her feet.
Lena Skye is the #1 Contender for the Artemis Championship
Post Match: Nausicaa Suzuki jumps the guardrail and jumps Lena from behind, knocking her down, and giving her enough time to prepare and connect with a devastating Big Boot, knocking Lena out cold!

After the events of the first night, Annie Zellor and Mary-Jane McCracken can be found together backstage. Still dressed in her ring attire and chewing on her gum, Annie smirks at the camera as she holds up her right index finger. “One down…” she brags before exchanging a knowing look with her valet. McCracken smiles back, nodding her head in acknowledgement as Annie talks briefly about how Azumi Goto was a tough opponent— formidable, even? That’s what MJ suggests anyway.
But the JET Chairwoman and Joshi legend just didn’t have what it takes to keep Annie down for the three count - just like Zellor warned her earlier tonight! “And clean too!” McCracken adds, forcing a harsh laugh from the former Macaria champion. Zellor blows a bubble with her gum, popping it before she continues.
“But one down, three to go…” Annie starts; her focus is mainly on the two women in the tournament in which she considers herself to be in direct competition - Lowri Moss and Angie Vaughn - but before Annie can get a shot at either of them, there’s somebody else in the way. She briefly recalls Chapter 36— when Ashley Cross appeared back on the scene and announced herself as number fifteen! “...without so much as a qualifier match” MJ adds, and both women shake their heads.
Then Annie focuses more on the return of Kristina Von Doom! The first ever Queen of Roses being back in Rose City Wrestling and the implications that could mean for this tournament— before she pauses. And it’s like a lightbulb goes off in her head as she asks MJ if Ashley’s silly little tantrum on Twitter about KVD’s return wasn’t about a wrestler venturing out from retirement, but maybe about KVD overshadowing Ashley’s return…
Annie then takes a quick sip of a gingerbread latte from one of the local coffee houses as she muses about the thought. “And she wants to be Queen…” Annie starts, smirking for a moment as she shakes her head no. Not tonight. Not at Annie’s expense! Because Annie has her sights on that trophy and that title— and not just as a platform to get a shot at IVD and the IJWF title! Because Annie needs to get past Ashley Cross to get her possible matches against Angie Vaughn, and get revenge for that tag loss! To get revenge for Angie beating Dom during the UK tour last year! That this time round, Annie won’t be denied! And to show Rose City Wrestling that the former Queens just don’t cut it anymore!
And she wants that match against Lowri Moss, because if anybody else can claim to be the best wrestler in Rose City right now, it’s Lowri. Whether she’s winning World Cups, or North American, Pure, Staten Island, Mid-Atlantic Legacy, tag or trio titles...Lowri Moss has it. Lowri Moss gets the job done. And that...is something Annie has to put a stop to. If only for one evening. She likes Lowri. They’re friends. “But this is business…” Annie says, possibly as a reminder to a conversation the pair shared during the UK tour, after the Tenacious Wrecking Crew/Pendragon feud over in FGA, “...and if we meet in, like, the semis or the final, Lowri...then may the best wrestler win.”

LMMC3 Quarterfinals
Lowri Moss def. Izzy van Doren at 18:18 via Nos Da
The two women start the match off slowly, as both women have counters to each other’s early Holds, based off of their last matchup.
The two women continually trade back and forth, until Izzy takes control with a superkick leading into a tope suicida that sends Moss crashing onto the floor.
Moss recovers and both women begin trading strikes in center ring, when Izzy tries to grab Lowri’s head for the headlock driver, but after a brief struggle, Lowri is able to get a hold of Izzy’s head and drive it straight into the canvas, and immediately dives onto Izzy and picks up the pinfall win, over the IJWF World Champion!
Post match: Kristina Von Doom charges into the ring and stares down Lowri again. This time however, Moss stands up and stands her ground against the immortal. The two exchange words before Kristina heads to the back.
Annie Zellor def. Ashley Cross at 11:49 via O’Connor Roll
Even with the crowd, overwhelmingly on Ashley’s side, Annie looked calm throughout the match. Ashley’s intense demeanor came through in her offense as well, as she charged straight onto Annie from the opening bell, with a series of kicks, and impressive suplexes early on.
Cross seemed poised to put Annie away early on, but Mary-Jane McCracken kept distracting the referee, when Ashley would get set for a big move.
This distraction, proved it’s most costly, when Annie’s first real flurry of offense, was stopped when Ashley connected with a picture perfect poison-rana, and transitioned into her “Limit Break” but McCracken nearly came into the ring, causing the referee to jump into action.
As an argument ensued, Annie tapped out, but the distraction did it’s job, and the ref didnt notice. Cross, enraged, broke the hold and landed a picture perfect shotgun dropkick to Mary Jane’s chest, sending her flying into the crowd!
Zellor, took advantage of the situation however, and snuck up behind Cross, and pinned her, with an O’Connor roll, for the pin!
Post match: Annie ran out of the ring, to check on Mary Jane, but both were chased to the back by a furious, Ashley Cross!
Angelica Vaughn def. Q at 13:57 via a Field Goal Kick
Kristina Von Doom def. Nora Foley at 09:17 via “The Catastrophe”
Kristina and Nora each decided to meet power, with power as the two women, equal in size, beat the absolute hell out of each other.
Foley was able to stand her ground after the barrage of strikes though and gave KVD a thunderous choke slam, which nearly gave her the win, but von Doom was able to get the shoulder up right before the three count!
Nora took a second to recover, but this also allowed KVD to get back to her feet and the two women squared off in center ring and once again, there clubbing elbows at each other’s faces, with Nora seeming to break Kristina’s nose with one.
The pace of the shots picked up until they were firing machine gun style elbows, and clubbed away at each other, until KVD was able to finally get Nora onto her shoulders and hit the Catastrophe very quickly and pick up the win.
Post match: Kristina finally catches her breath and cleans the blood from her nose, when Lowri Moss sprinted to the ring and begins yelling in Kristina’s face. The two women trade words, until Kristina finally strikes Lowri. The two women brawl for a second before they are separated. Stacy DeVille immediately demanded the semifinals to begin as Lowri, Kristina and a referee were already in the ring.
LMMC3 Semifinal Number One
Lowri Moss def. Kristina Von Doom via Multiple Nos Da at 16:39
Stamina was the key factor here, as Lowri was able to control a majority of the offense simply because she had more in the tank.
Any time KVD would attempt to power through a move, Lowri would be able to stop, slow down, and continue her offensive attack.
However, it took multiple of Lowri’s “Nos Da” cutters to finally keep KVD down for the three count, and advance Lowri Moss to the Finals.
LMMC3 Semifinal Number Two
Annie Zellor def. Angelica Vaughn at 15:00 via “Kindness”
Mary Jane was absent, as she was still recovering from the drop kick from earlier in the evening.
Angie and Annie both gave their all in this semi final contest which saw both women work a high work rate match.
The end came when Annie caught Angie’s Field Goal Kick and deadlift her onto her shoulders and transition into the “Kindness” and sees Annie advance to the final!
Non-Tournament Match
Emma Delaney def. Kimmi Keister at 08:48 via the “Emmaliminator”
Emma Delaney made up for her previous absence, with an impassioned performance against Kimmi, who tried to run for a majority of the match.
Emma was finally able to catch Kimmi and lock her down, and pick up get first win in Rose City.
Before the main event, Stacy DeVille comes out and thanks the crowd for helping honor a departed friend. The crowd cheers and begins a “Lilith Morgan!” Chant. Stacy has a few tears run down her face as she smiles and points up to the sky.
As the chants begin to slow down, Stacy brings out the Queen of Roses Championship and the ring announcer calls out one final time for the start of the match.
LMMC3 Final
Lowri Moss def. Annie Zellor at 21:34 via pinfall with a 450 Splash.
Lowri and Annie both looked worse for wear heading into the final, but both women were at their finest in the final. Annie took control early on after working over the legs of Moss for the first part of the match.
Annie slows the pace down and continues to work Lowri’s legs with various locks and holds, including a deep heel hook, that looks like it could finish the match, but Lowri is able to reach the ropes with one final lunge at the bottom rope.
Lowri begins to fight back after countering an attempt at “Kindness” from Annie, into a Hurricanrana, is successful, but Annie hops right back up, and tries to go for a Rana of her own, but Lowri plants her feet and delivers a hellacious powerbomb, bouncing Annie’s body off the canvas, and both women are down!
Lowri and Annie both make it back to their feet and they begin to exchange right hands. Lowri’s power begins to win out though as each shot stumbles Annie, until Lowri grabs onto Annie’s head and hits a Nos Da! The crowd counts along with the pin attempt, but Annie kicks out at 2!
Lowri, now desperate, surveys her options and decides on the top rope. Lowri scales the top rope and executes a picture perfect 450!
1!
2!
3!
The crowd erupts as Lowri is announced as the winner, and confetti begins to rain down onto the ring.
Lowri Moss becomes the 8th Queen of Roses
Stacy DeVille enters the ring and presents the Lilith Morgan Memorial Cup to Lowri and shakes Annie’s hand as she leaves the ring.
Stacy: Ladies and Gentlemen.. All hail, the 8th Queen of Roses: Lowri Moss!
The celebration continues as the screen fades to black
