Chapter 23: Happy Birthday!

Tolson and Hana brutalized each other throughout the match; resembling more of a street fight, than a wrestling match. Hana’s technically sound striking gives her the advantage in the end, as combo after combo lands, and ultimately Hana, locks in the Wicked Sister and chokes Sam, unconscious, once again.

Jansen Myrrh opens up the match against, new Macaria Champion, Tiami Erickson. The two women work each other over early on, until Kem Dynamo comes out and charges after Jan, after her actions at the Academy show last night. Tiami takes a back seat as her opponents brawl with each other, until Sloane Weber’s theme hits and she charges towards the ring. She clears the ring out before diving to her opponents outside.

Sloane appears to have the match in her hands, when Wendy O’Neil and Red Oktober jump her from behind. Faith Rivers makes the save, but mixed into all of this commotion, Tiami connects with the “Perdition” on Jansen and gets the quick pin and escapes with her title!

An absolute masterpiece on Trios Wrestling. Both teams had their timing on point. Mizuki and Betsy held the ring down for their teams for a majority of the match, but everyone played their parts. As the announcer announced that there’s one minute left, all six women swarm into the ring and begin brawling, trying to get someone to stay down long enough to get a quick pinfall, but as the final bell rings, the crowd erupts in appreciation for the effort put forth by all 6 women.

When this match was announced, many people expected these two, powerful women to bludgeon the hell out of each other, until one gave up. What happened instead was an insanely athletic contest that saw both women bust out moonsaults, KVD connect with a Poison Rana, and even Nora busted out a rope con Hilo. But in the end KVD’s superior cardio, and ability to keep the pace, saw the first Queen, take home the victory in this hoss fight, after connecting with the “Catastrophe”

A classic contrast of styles was on display in this match as Lena tried early to establish her suplex heavy offense early on, but Hanako kept her distance effectively, with superior strikes. The match broke down quickly though when Lena introduced a chair (and therefore the No-DQ stipulation). Takeuchi eventually gave Lena a second rope tombstone through a table, for the win!



These three women absolutely tore the house down and stole the show, upon the return from intermission. Talia maintained a high rate offense throughout that was matched by Chance and Taryn, throughout, but in the end, Talia was able to put the match away with a Standing Slice of Heaven!

The two women show each other respect, before the match starts, but Stacy came into this match with an added aggression, after going 0-2 so far for the weekend. Anaquin tried her hardest to will her way on in the match, but Mama Bear’s game was 100% on point tonight, and a DeVille Driver was too much for Anaquin, in the end.

Both teams came out of the gates, swinging for the fences. Blaise and Lowri’s chemistry only continues to grow, but the experience of ElIzzy gave them the edge for the majority of the match, until Lowri connected with a Russian leg sweep on Izzy on the outside, and Blaise gave Mevy a piledriver on the apron before Lowri rolls Izzy into the ring, and wins the tag titles with a 450 splash!

Angie and Emi put together, what many people are calling, the greatest match in Rose City history, as a perfect ending to cap off the one year anniversary of Rose City Wrestling. Both of these women were evenly matched with each other, and it showed throughout as each woman had the perfect counter to each other’s moves, at the most important times.

Angie began to break away near the end, as she got a rope break out of the Adaptable Armbar, and kicked out of two Nagano knees, and those appeared to break the spirit of Hirota. Angie moved out of the way of a third knee, and landed two field goal kicks to finally earn the pinfall victory, and becomes the 5th Queen of Roses!

Post Match: Stacy DeVille enters the ring to present the title to Angie, but Emi asks to, and eventually does, present the crown, and the belt, to Angie. The two women shake hands, and Emi leaves. The crowd begins to chant “You deserve it” when “Sin” begins to play. The crowd erupts as STRiFE walks through the curtain and comes to the ring. She unhooks the Artemis Championship from her waist, folds it up and hands it to Stacy before staring down the new champion.
