BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Real Name: Hanako Takeuchi (Takeuchi Hanako, 武内花子)
Ring Name: “The Black Rose” Hanako Takeuchi
Age/DOB: 27 (Birthday: June 11, 1991)
Height: 5'11”
Weight: 136 lbs.
Hometown: Kamagasaki, Osaka, Japan
PRESENTATION INFORMATION
Entrance Theme: “Babylonian Gorgon” by The Bags
Alignment: Face
Gimmick Description: From the mean streets of Kamagasaki and the wild Osaka punk scene, Hanako Takeuchi graduated from DTW's Death Dojo and excelled in deathmatch wrestling while learning Muay Thai and becoming a title-winning boxer. Once deemed to be second fiddle to longtime boyfriend and tag partner Masatake Kawamata, Takeuchi is now considered one of the most dangerous strikers on the planet and has knocked out a number of opponents that include grown men. Jadedness and bitterness from her tough start in pro wrestling has molded her in-ring style to be more cynical and sadistic. There's a snarkiness in her promos and, like a stereotypical Osaka native, she's loud with an emphasis on humor. She's also a punk/northern soul/rare funk vinyl DJ, can play guitar and violin as well as sing, and speaks fluent English with an accent that almost sounds entirely American with a slight Osaka tinge.

WRESTLING INFORMATION
Wrestling Style:
- The stiff striking and aura of Katsuyori Shibata in that there's a calmness, but also a visceral allure. Can get sadistic as her blows get harder and more vicious the longer the match goes. It can take a dark turn to the point where it's almost as if she's working heel. This becomes more apparent against opponents who are smaller, which is nearly every other woman. It also comes out against Barbie Doll types and “walking jack off dreams,” who she has little to no respect for and will want to take them to school.
- Comes with all the fighting spirit and strong style tropes, so she still makes for a great underdog in the event where she is physically outmatched.
- Muay Thai style similar to Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn, who used his height (something Takeuchi can do against most women) and was an extremely effective knee striker, though Takeuchi herself is more known for punches and kicks.
- Super aggressive and her strikes often come in waves. Her long arms and legs make it even harder to get away.
- Elite stand-up game is rounded out by her dodging ability and KO resistance.
- Trained in the defensive aspects of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with help from Sawtooth Grin. She's not well-versed in submissions, but has been heavily drilled in takedown defense and submission defense. It's damn tough to get her down and even then it's hard to put on a submission hold.
- She was trained by a deathmatch legend in the dojo of a deathmatch company. Death Trip Wrestling's Death Dojo is run by a drugged-out Satan-worshipping metal head who's known for nailing bunnies to steel chairs and hitting his students with them. She's been in there with some of the most dangerous at this point and won't shy from bloodshed. Forget trying to scare her if you're not a literal dragon or a murderous coprophile. This deathmatch background also accentuates her sadistic nature in the ring.
- Great with aerial attacks and not afraid to dive out of the ring.
- Intelligence. Very cerebral in how she approaches her matches and isn't going to lose her head out there. A lot of this has to do with growing up in a rough part of Osaka that is male dominant with many homeless who are former Yakuza, so she had to be smart and not just tough to survive. Also, after seeing Kawamata's brutal death (don't worry! He's alive... or, uh, undead), she has strong perspective on what's really important. That helps her maintain composure and she doesn't take herself too seriously, so good luck getting into her head just with insults.
- Speed. She can whip around the ring like nobody else. This gives her moves even more cringe-inducing impact for moves like her penalty kick.
- Depending on her schedule, she could be prone to bleeding when a cut gets opened back up if she's competed in a deathmatch in less than two days prior. Bleeding brings out more thunder from Takeuchi as the match takes a turn toward the dramatic. This plays into the visceral allure that was mentioned before.
Years Pro: Debuted in October 2017, so however long since then when you're reading this
Finisher(s):
Shouten – “Death.” Vertical suplex side slam. She learned her boyfriend's first-in-line finisher before even starting her training at the Death Dojo. After being attacked, Claudia Kajara sucked lifeforce from Masatake and kissed it into Hanako, which passed on the ability to perform his move. Can do this to opponents who are 230 pounds or below. You can see Hirooki Goto do the move here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMUtfcB1T2Y
Over The Moon – Moonsault double foot stomp to the ribs with graceful hang time. In more extreme moments, Hanako can do this with a steel chair placed on their ribs. You can see Sonjay Dutt do the move here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=znoumHUMspQ
Black Rose Driver – Small Package Driver for the pin. Can do this to opponents who are 205 pounds or below. Can be done after a tilt-a-whirl DDT like KUSHIDA does here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPOYFevEY-0
Has knocked opponents out with her striking ability, so something like a high Muay Thai kick to the head or devastating uppercut could do it as well as any sort of punching/kicking/elbows/forearms/knees combo.
Signature(s):
Yamanote-sen – Reverse roundhouse kick. Named after the circular Yamanote Line in Tokyo. This is her primary set-up for Over The Moon but could also be a knockout blow as she's won with it before. After all, the foundation of the art of Muay Thai is the roundhouse kick and this is a reverse one.
Tilt-A-Whirl Kimura Lock – Her main submission hold. Seen done by KUSHIDA here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKbvr1LQwRo
Shinkansen Attack – Running double knee to the face with her opponent sitting in the corner. Very brutal considering how fast Hanako can run. She'll sometimes place something on her opponent's faces in ultraviolent matches.
Eiffel D'Parachute – That move in Fire Pro that doesn't actually exist. With the opponent laying down, she jumps up off their stomach to do a flying flip kick and lands on them with a splash for a pin attempt.
Ultra Hurricanrana – She jumps off the ropes from the ring apron, or off a steel barricade or whatever, flies at her opponent and snaps off a hurricanrana, hooking their legs with their shoulders on the mat for a pin.
Reverse Chin Lock – her trainer, deathmatch legend SPIDER, somehow submitted an opponent with this hold and became known for the shock result. Hanako learned from him in making this simple hold very effective as a rest hold. She's already submitted one person with this hold at the time of this application.
Strikes:
- Spinning Back Fist
- Hanuman Thayarn (Muay Thai jumping knee. Can either nail them in the face or crush their ribs.)
- Thai clinch knee strikes
- Ripcord knee strike
- Ripcord forearm smash
- Pulls a laying opponent up into a seated position by their wrists, either into a knee to the face or she will just stomp the fuck out of their face multiple times. With the latter, she pulls back on their arms as she stomps them.
- Demoralizing, loud, bullying slaps against Barbie Doll opponents, walking jack off dreams, and heels or arrogant assholes who probably deserve it. She likes to say there's great power in those hands, and with power comes responsibility. She sees herself as a justice dealer or teacher in these situations and a few slaps asserts herself in those roles.
- Super Kick, because of course.
Suplex Variations:
- Bridging German Suplex
- Bridging Tiger Suplex
- Deadlift German Suplex then rolling backward into a Prawn Hold pin attempt (can deadlift opponents who are 200 pounds or below)
- Snap Suplex, holds on and rolls back, getting them up for a Falcon Arrow
- Spider Suplex, or basically just a German suplex from the top rope where she hooks her legs and stays safe while her opponent crashes. This is a great set-up for Over The Moon.
Submission Holds:
- Triangle Choke
- Leg Scissors Choke
Aerial Moves:
- Tope Con Hilo
- Suicide Dive
- Flying Knee to a standing opponent, either from the top rope or as a springboard move
- Hurricanrana, sometimes from the top rope
- Moonsault from the top rope to the outside
Running Attacks:
- Busaiku Knee Kick
- Shining Wizard
- Running Corkscrew Forearm Smash
- Running Single Leg Dropkick
- Penalty Kick off the ropes with blistering speed
Pinning Moves:
- Gedo Clutch
- La Magistral
- Takedown Magistral Cradle
- Wheelbarrow Magistral Cradle
