OOC: I just want to take this moment to give a quick word about our friend John. As many of you already know, John (Lilith Morgan) passed away on Saturday, and I was thinking of having a big memorial segment on this show, but I think I'll keep it simple for now, and have anyone who has anything they wish to say about John, either IC or OOC for the Memorial Cup at the end if the month.
For now, I just say thank you, and may our friend rest in peace.
The Stream opens with the entire Rose City Wrestling roster, surrounding the ringside area, as a lone pair of Purple Boots, with a mask resting on them in center ring. The ballroom is silent as everyone is standing as a ten bell salute begins to ring out.
Inbetween bell rings, the camera steadily focuses on the boots in the ring.
A graphic appears on screen before the show opens.
Special 6-Way Match
6 of Rose City's finest up and coming talent kicked off Chapter 7 with an un-announced 6-way, single fall matchup.
Although each woman saw their fair share of offense throughout this contest, it was the Debuting Ashley Cross, who picked up the win, and a hefty bonus to the standard Winner's share of the purse.
Stacy DeVille vs. Adeline La Roux(c)
SAKURA Pro Championship
Adeline La Roux came into Vancouver riding a tremendous wave of momentum, after winning, and defending the SAKURA Pro Championship, and Stacy DeVille wouldn't be the one to stop her tonight. Addy was able to continuously avoid the Ground game and used her superior Air skills to handle the Chairwoman of Rose City Wrestling.
Post Match: After the match was over, Stacy took a microphone and announced to the Vancouver crowd that the Lilith Morgan Memorial Cup would be her final two shows as an active wrestler, citing the need to focus all of her attention to running the business side of Rose City.
Angelica Vaughn vs. Emivlas Stasias
Arriving to a hero's welcome, Angie Vaughn came out, sporting her protective headgear, and a Vancouver Whitecaps jersey.
Stasias came out and controlled this match from the opening bell, utilizing her knowledge from a stellar 17 year career to her advantage and controlled this matchup throughout.
But a mixture of ring rust, and a tad of exhaustion from Emi, saw Angie weather the storm and prevail victorious in her hometown.
Paula Pina vs. Blaise Fader
A very hard hitting matchup, started a little slow as Paula appeared a little starstruck, being placed across the ring from the woman she has stated as her idol.
All nerves went away after the first few exchanges and Blaise got the better of them.
Paula went from nervous, to tunnel vision, focused on victory, but Blaise's experience in big matches proves to be Paula's downfall, as Blaise was able to lock in the Godiva Lock and submit Paula.
MLC vs. Samantha Tolson vs. Kaho Sugiyama(c)
Top Contender's Contract
An excellent three way dance took place as these three women now have the Queen of Roses in their sights. Tolson and Sugiyama exchaged strikes in the middle of the ring, as MLC would interject for a quick kick of her own every once in a while.
When the match was at it's peak, MLC had Kaho lined up exactly where she wanted her to get ready for the "Criss Cross" but then Juliana Mendoza came in out of nowhere, and cracked a steel chair over MLC's head (No DQ's in 3-ways). Tolson came in after Mendoza left the ring, and pinned the limp body of Cross and Claimed the Top Contender Contract.
Sloane Weber vs Serenity Forbes
Television Championship
The twitter war was over. The time had come to finally settle the question on everyone's mind: Who would emerge as the 1st television champion?
Serenity would try just about every trick she knew of to try and get an advantage on Sloane: Playing to the crowd, attempting to embarass Sloane with personal insults, and great wrestling ability.
But in the end, Sloane would not be denied and was crowned the first ever Rose City Television Champion!
Veeka Manns vs. Katie Anderson
Cage Match
These two women promised that Blood would be shed, and it was. From the opening bell, both women used the cage to their advantage. Wrestling holds were at a premium as this match was a fight, pure and simple, with the feud coming to an end tonight.
In the end, Katie would connect with Falling Peach Blossom from the top of the cage and would secure the win.
Post Match: The partners of both women would come to ringside to check on their partners. Katie was able to leave with the help of Hazel and an official, while Veeka needed medical attention and would leave the ballroom on a stretcher.
Jessica Black vs. Kristina von Doom (c)
Queen of Roses
The Main event lived up to the hype from the first match, and exceeded it with the second.
Black had KVD reeling at times, but the Immortal one would always find a strong answer, no matter what the challenger tried.
The match reached its peak when JB went for the Fade to Black on the apron again, but KVD caught her in Mid Rotation and drove JB, skull first into the apron!
KVD then took JB to #APEX and avenged her only loss in Professional wrestling, and retained her Championship.
For now, I just say thank you, and may our friend rest in peace.
